Scout Group Summer Camp 2017

31st Wexford Ballyhuskard Scout Group will be having their outdoor summer camp for all sections Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts on Saturday the 24th of June 2017. This year we have decided to set up our air skills camp in the community field up behind the community centre in Glenbrien.

Please remember when dropping your child off to sign them in and leave a contact number and then house when collecting them please also notify me of any changes to be made to their consent form regarding food allergies medical etc

• Venue:                         Community Field, Glenbrien.
• Cost per child:            €10 payable by Saturday 24th of June.
• Camp theme:              Air Skills
• Drop off time:             2 p.m. on Saturday the 24th of June. (Scouts and leaders 10 a.m.)
• Collection time:          10 a.m. on Sunday 25th of June

Personal Gear each child will need to bring for this camp

• Sleeping bag (2 to 3 season recommended when buying one).
• Roll mat (foam mat for under sleeping bag).
• Small pillow or cushion.
• Clothes to wear to bed (fleece pyjamas or tracksuit bottoms and sweatshirt).
• Wash bag (include toothbrush and paste, face cloth and hand towel).
• Mug with handle plate bowl spoon fork and knife (plastic but not disposable for example picnic set.)
• Tea towel to wash up.
• Full change of clothes.
• Full uniform to wear home on Sunday.
• Rain gear (Jacket and pants) hat and hiking boots.
• Sun cream and sun hat.
• Hand wipes tissues plasters and plastic bag.
• Any personal item that they need for bedtime (e g a teddy or a book).
• Small torch head torches ideal.
• Packed lunch and bottle of water for lunch on Saturday afternoon.

Please note that we promote a healthy eating policy therefore there is no need to bring any sweets or treats to camp, a camp treat will be supplied by the group.
